We hear these two questions all of the time:
- What is a Shampoo Bar/ Conditioner Bar?
- And, how you do use them?
We get it! You’ve been using liquid shampoo and conditioner since you were a child, so the idea of using a bar to wash your hair does seem a bit out of the ordinary. But, once you’ve tried our hair bars, you’ll be saying, "Why didn’t I try these sooner?"
How to Use Our Shampoo Bar:
- Wet your hair, scalp and the shampoo bar.
- Swipe the shampoo bar directly across the roots of your hair through to the tips. Swipe multiple times for thick or long hair.
- Gently massage your scalp and hair until a nice, thick lather forms.
- After you have shampooed your hair, rinse well with cool water.
- Follow with a conditioner bar, if desired.
- Towel dry then style as usual.
How to Use a Conditioner Bar:
- After you have shampooed your hair, swipe the conditioner bar much like you did the shampoo bar from the roots of your hair through to the tips. Swipe multiple times for thick or lengthy hair.
- Just like traditional liquid conditioner, our conditioner bars won’t create a lather; however, the product will transfer from the bar to your hair.
- Gently massage the conditioner through your hair.
- Rinse well with cool water or skip the rinse and use our conditioner as a leave-in conditioner.
- Towel dry then style as usual.
How to Store Your Hair Bars:
- Place your hair bar in a location away from the water spray of your shower such as a ledge or shower caddy.
- Store on a well-draining soap rest so that your hair bars are not sitting in water – they should be treated just like soap!
- Plastic storage cases are available for travel or storage in your gym bag.
- With proper use and storage, our hair bars will last between 50 and 75 washes.
